A Possible Mitt Romney Running Mate and Metta World Peace May Face a Suspension

Another candidate added to the Mitt Romney running mate list and Metta World Peace throws some bows. It's the top stories trending online in The Pulse.

Jennifer Hudson Testifies
Jennifer Hudson took the witness stand today at the trial of her brother-in-law . William Balfour is accused of killing Hudson's mother, brother, and nephew in 2008.  As testimony got underway Monday in Chicago, Hudson told the jury no one in her family wanted her sister to marry Balfour.  Balfour says he's not guilty.  His attorneys argue there is no forensic evidence linking him to the murders.  Prosecutors allege Balfour went on a violent rampage sparked by jealousy.

Marco Rubio
Florida Senator Marco Rubio is on the list of potential Mitt Romney running mates.  The pair stumped in Pennsylvania on Monday. Just last week, Rubio claimed that he would turn down a running mate offer if one were made by Romney.

John Edwards May Serve Jail Time
John Edwards went on trial Monday, charged with six felony and misdemeanorcounts of violating campaign finance law. The former Senator "knowingly and willfully" received nearly $1 million in illegal campaign contributions to hide his then pregnant mistress from the public. Edward's defense team says he never thought he was breaking the law, but prosecutors disputed that in court. Edwards faces up to 30 years in prison.

Bundle of Joy
E! News host Giuliana Rancic and husband Bill are expecting! Rancic made the announcement on the Today show Monday. The 37 year old "Fashion Police" co-host has tried for years to have a child and has been thwarted by infertility issues, a miscarriage and a breast cancer diagnosis.  According to E! online, Giuliana and Bill  are the genetic parents of the child and a surrogate woman will carry and deliver the baby, which is due later this summer.

Metta World Peace Facing Suspension?
LA Laker Metta World Peace may be slapped with a suspension after throwing some bows in Sunday nights game against the Oklahoma Thunder. World Peace was ejected from the game after hitting James Harden in the back of the head with his elbow, sending Harden to the floor. According to World Peace, the incident was an accident and he was simply celebrating after throwing down a dunk.
