UNCUT: Smith Greets Staff and Media in Press Conference

In a Tuesday press conference John L. Smith expressed his excitement to be the football head coach. 

Smith, who just arrived late Monday night,  complimented the team for holding the program together in a difficult time.  He said nothing will slow down as he helps to fight for a national title.

The newly returned Hog joked "no stupid questions" as the presser turned to Q&A.  He told the media it was tough to leave Weber State but is excited to be back and leading a "top ten program."  He added it is his intention to be a positive role model for players.

Smith has been coaching for nearly four decades, including head coaching positions at five previous schools. He is return to the Razorbacks was announced by vice chancellor and director of athletics Jeff Long on Monday.
