What's worse: Getting chased and tackled by a state trooper, or having a portable meth lab explode in your pants?

David Williams got to experience both early Friday morning in Oklahoma.  He was the passenger in a car that got pulled over by the Oklahoma State Patrol in Okmulgee County.
When the trooper started questioning Williams about a chemical smell in the car, Williams took off running.

Trooper Shiloh Hill quickly caught up with him, and discovered what he was carrying.

"After a brief struggle it was determined there was an active meth lab in his pants that burst during the struggle and got all over his body," Hill said.

The portable meth process is incredibly dangerous, because it involves putting the chemical ingredients in a single container, then flipping it upside down to mix it.
The built-up pressure makes the mixture highly explosive.
