Special Prosecutor Makes Decision On Police Shooting

By: Tom Yazwinski
Updated: May 7, 2012
Special Prosecutor H.G. Foster informed KNWA he has made a determination in a shooting incident that involved a Lincoln Police Officer.

Lincoln Police Officer Chris Williams shot 17 year-old Justin Hellyer after a high speed chase in February.

Officer Williams claims Hellyer had a knife at the time of the shooting but a knife was not found at the scene.  Hellyer was treated for his gunshot wounds and released.

We expect to hear Foster's decision on whether the shooting was justified or not Tuesday morning. Watch KNWA and Fox News Edge for the latest or check back here on nwahomepage.com.
