A Rogers home caught fire Tuesday morning, prompting a quick response from fire crews.

The Rogers Fire Department was called to a fire at 801 N. 14th Place around 10:30 a.m.

The homeowner told firefighters she heard crackling and popping coming from her laundry room, and then saw smoke.

She called 911 and left the home without injury.

Crews contained the fire to one room, but say there is smoke damage throughout the house.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
