A marathon proposal and an octopus sets up shop in a tin can.  It's news stories that have gone Over the Edge.

An Oklahoma police officer fell to his knee after running the Memorial Marathon Sunday but it wasn't from exhaustion, he was proposing to his shocked girlfriend.  She's a 911 dispatcher. They run the race together every year. They're still deciding on a wedding date.

A diver off the coast of the Philippines spotted a crafty octopus making a home out of a tin can.  The creature carried the can around everywhere he went and when it's ready for some rest or just wants to hide, it tucks its entire body inside its mobile home.

It's not only a full moon this weekend, it's a "Supermoon." That means the moon will go full at its closest point to earth and the full moon will look even bigger. This year's supermoon is expected to arrive Saturday at 10:35pm central.
