Do the judges have a favorite finalist?  And which American Idol contestant is the messiest?  Get the scoop in Wednesday's Idol Edge segment.

With only 5 Idol finalists remaining criticism from the judges has been scarce -- while standing ovations suddenly seem to be the norm.

And in case you weren't counting, Joshua Ledet is leading the pack with a dozen.

"Josh has had 12," says Jessica Sanchez.  "We've all counted...it's 12."

"Since the Hollywood round when he sang jar of hearts," adds Skylar Laine.  "That was his first one."

And while the applause is great -- Josh is looking for a slightly bigger commitment.

"When J-Lo stands up I definitely blush a lot and I get all excited on the inside," says Joshua.  "I just want to marry her."

And as last weeks show revealed some ugly truths about each contestant there seems to be two very different stories about who is the messiest roommate...

"Let's be honest that wasn't my room ok," explains Hollie Cavanagh  "They took the pictures from someone else's, well my actual room, and put it on someone else's room"
