Adam Crosson and Robert Lemming are putting the finishing touches on the eight foot tall sculpture dubbed "18 Verticals, 70 Horizontals". Crosson and Lemming have been working on the sculpture for the last year or so and it's made primarily of cedar and formed into the general shape of a coil. Three to Four people can actually stand inside it at the same time and Lemming says they picked the shape so people can see art from all sides.
The sculpture will be installed on the southeast lawn of the fine arts building and will be officially dedicated during a reception next Monday afternoon and is set to be there for the next five years.
