In a world where the wrongs are often highlighted on the news, we found a man who is trying to make things right.

Monday night a beer distributor met with the victim of an armed robbery in Lincoln, Nebraska.

"We're really sorry what happened to you last week with someone taking your beer from you," said Rick Birdsell.

Birdsell brought more beer to the friends who were robbed of a single can beer by a knife-wielding man.

"We asked them to leave and one guy showed what looked like a knife," said Jessica Robertson.

The man ran off with a can of Pabst Blue Ribbon.

A short time later, Lincoln police escorted the man back to the patio to be identified and arrested.

He hadn't even finished the beer.

"They came and poured it out. What a shame. What a shame," said Robertson, an advertising major at University of Nevada Lincoln.

Now that's where Rick Birdsell comes in.

He works for Pabst.

The company saw the story and wanted to help.

He even carried the new cases of beer to her place and joined her friends for a drink.

Only in a college town can you go from a robbery victim to something potentially legendary.

After all, how often do you get the beer man to come to your party?

"My parents will be so proud," said Jessica Robertson.
