Man Accused of Advertising on Craigslist and Robbing Potential Buyers

By: Liz Hogan
Updated: May 8, 2012
Benton County investigators say a man posted fake ads on Craigslist and then robbed the people who responded to the advertisements.

According to deputies, 19-year-old Tevin Knight met up with a man at a Pea Ridge McDonald's to sell him a cell phone, but instead of making a sale, Knight pulled out a gun and robbed him.

Investigators believe Knight committed a similar crime in Crawford County.

He is being held in the Benton County Jail on $35,000 bond, and faces aggravated robbery charges.
