The Earth Day NWA Awards

A little trash talk in Fayetteville Monday night.
It's all part of the Earth Day Northwest Arkansas ECO-Awards happening at The Greenhouse Grill.
The event honors local businesses taking pro-active steps to protect the environment.
"We wanted to recognize people in our community who are going above and beyond expectations on the job or within an organization and advancing sustainability," says organizer Mikel Clolley.
The event also hosted the Second Annual Get Trashed Fashion Show, which featured designs using materials that might end up in landfills.
Organizers say this year's fashion show included 18 models, more than twice the number of participants last year.
