Area Apartments Feel Brunt Of Storm

By:
Updated: April 17, 2007
Sunday`s thunder storms brought more than just a restless night for four Fayetteville families. The rain came down hard and fast. Too fast for the storm drain located at Washington Plaza apartments. The drain could not deal with the mass of water created by the storms and water began to collect in the parking lot. First the lot flooded deep enough to reach a grown man`s knee and then it made its way into the apartments of buildings forty-eight and fifty.
