Over the next couple of days in Fayetteville the Food Network is making a stop to film a reality show.

Several culinary teams will face off around the city trying to sell food out of trucks.  It's apart of the 3rd season of 'The Great Food Truck Race'.

Fayetteville is stop 4 of 7, and Executive Producer Dean Ollins said this Northwest Arkansas city had all the makings of a great reality show stop, "What we loved about Fayetteville was it was a great mix of college town, good southern flavor, and southern hospitality.  It was sort of a neutral area where we could sort of turn north or south across the country.  And we were really excited about it, and so far it has proved to be exactly what we hoped for."

He added that the Fayetteville show is going to be something special, "This is going to be an episode that tests our teams in ways that we haven't done before."

'The Great Food Truck Race' will air on the Food Network started in mid-August, Ollins believes the Fayetteville episode should air in early September.
