John Edwards: "I Did An Awful, Awful Lot That Was Wrong"

A jury found Edwards not guilty on one count of accepting illegal campaign contributions.
Judge Catherine Eagles declared a mistrial on the five remaining counts after jurors said they were deadlocked.
"Thank goodness we live in a country that has the kind of system we have," Edwards said afterwards, "and I think those jurors were an exemplar for what juries are supposed to do."
Edwards was charged with six criminal counts of misusing campaign contributions to hide his affair with Rielle Hunter during his run for the presidency in 2008.
