David Kedy, President of Arvest`s operations in Bartlesville, OK, announced the plan yesterday.
Arvest is based in Bentonville, AR, and Caney Valley Bancshares is based in Caney, KS.
The sale is expected to be finalized in the first quarter of 2007.
The addition bring the Arvest branch network to a total of 209 banking locations and 304 ATMs in Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Southern Missouri.
