Girl Writes Poem About Battle with Brain Cancer

Elizabeth Kennedy was diagnosed with a brain tumor when she was seven years old.  After two brain surgeries, and lot of traveling between home and her hospital, Elizabeth now focuses her attention on raising money and attention for cancer research.

Last year, Elizabeth helped raise $50,000 for the Teen Cancer Challenge.  The money was used to build the Centers for Children in Lowell, which offers 15 specialty clinics available to children in NW Arkansas.

Elizabeth says she loves reading and writing, and even wrote a special poem titled "Tiny Grey Rebels" about her battle with brain cancer.  Click on the video above to see her read it on Fox News Edge.
