In Choctaw, Oklahoma Jeffery Henry had been telling his family there's an alligator lurking in this pond. Wednesday while Jeff was fishing, he saw the alligator and jumped in a canoe with his neighbor and they paddled after it . The boy attempted to catch the gator by grabbing its tail all while calling his grandma on his cell phone. His grandmother who lives close by headed over to the pond and shot the gator with a gun.
Something people don't see every day on the streets of Columbus, Ohio is a runaway horse. The equine's flight to freedom snarled traffic on Wednesday night along one of the interstates. Police say they used rolling roadblocks to restrict vehicles and eventually capture the horse.
It looked like a big snowstorm hit a patch of road in Warrendale. It's not actually snow, it's powdered sugar. A tractor-trailer crashed spilling its load of sugar all over the roadway. It took hours to clean up the mess and reopen the road. As for the driver, he was only slightly injured.
