Updated: July 10, 2012
The City Of Rogers has confirmed a new Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer.

Rogers Mayor Greg Hines' choice, Richard McComas, was unanimously confirmed by the Rogers City Council Tuesday night.

McComas will take over as CFO for the city August first.  Hines says he is the right fit because, "His public finance background is extensive and I had the opportunity to work with and get to know him while I was employed at the county. Over the years I have developed a deep respect for Richard."

McComas is currently serving as the Benton County Comptroller.

You may remember the City of Rogers fired its Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer back in May of this year Jerry Hudlow was accused of lying to the city council and bringing a gun to work. The Mayor says Hudlow was fired "at will."
