Farmington High School's principal was arrested Thursday, after police said they found him naked and covered in blood.
"Early this morning, the Farmington Police Department was called to a disturbance in progress off Double Springs Road," said Washington County Deputy Prosecutor Denis Dean.
Once on scene, officers said they heard screaming coming from inside a house on Hydrangea Drive.
"They arrived and actually saw a domestic violence situation in progress."
According to a police report, officers said there was blood covering the floors and walls leading to an upstairs bathroom. Police said they found Farmington High School Principal Christopher Webb, 42, naked, covered in blood, and holding a woman in a choke hold.

"I can't get into specifics of what's been told and what's happened, but they observed enough to where they were able to make an arrest on several charges."
Officers said they also found a dead black dog in the bathtub next to Webb, with its throat slit.
The report stated, two officers had to physically restrain Webb to get him into the patrol car. Dean said once arrested, Webb was taken to the hospital.
"When he's released he'll be immediately transported to the Washington County Jail by the Sheriff's Office, so there will not be a break between him leaving the hospital and going to Washington County Jail."
Police said there was a knife lying on the bathroom floor, but Dean confirmed the woman Webb was found with is okay.
"She was not transported to the hospital. She's not at the residence now, but she is physically fine."
As of Thursday evening, Dean said his department had not yet been in contact with Farmington Public Schools about the arrest.
"We're not involved with anything going on with his employment at Farmington School. We're treating this case just like any other that would come in. We understand he's a public official, but that is not swaying our decision or having anything to do with what's going on in this case."
The investigation is ongoing, and officials believe mental illness may be a factor in this case.
Farmington School Board President Jeff Oxford said they were finally able to get a hold of Superintendent Bryan Law, who is currently out of town on vacation.
Oxford believes Law will release a statement Friday morning.
Webb is facing charges of Aggravated Assault on a family or household member, 3rd
Degree Domestic Battery, Interference with Emergency Communications, Endangering the Welfare of a Minor, Resisting Arrest, and Aggravated Cruelty to an Animal.
Dean said the judge set Webb's bond at $5,000, with a no contact against the victim.
