The Tom Fazio-designed course was named Best New Private Course in 2005.
Golf Digest asked more than 800 panelists to create the rankings. Private clubs were ranked on a scale of 1 (very bad) to 10 (perfect). Panelists were asked to rate clubs` accommodations, meals, wine and spirits, caddie programs and service.
The Alotian ranked number one for accommodations, and second for meals and caddies. The club received a score of 9.48 out of ten.
Augusta National in Georgia took the top spot, and Pine Valley in New Jersey was number two.
