Wednesday the retail giant announced it would slash prices on over one-hundred toys. The idea is to get a jump on the holiday season price wars. The same announcement came this time last year, but the price cuts have actually been around 25-percent deeper than last year. Wal-mart also plans to match any rivals advertised toy prices.
