Updated: April 17, 2007
In the Decatur School District, standardized test scores are improving drastically. By offering incentives like ten dollars cash, a day off of school and a free pass to opt out of taking a few final exams, Superintendent Mike Parrish is giving hard-working students a pat on the back. He`s also giving students who wouldn`t normally work as hard the motivation to score profecient or advanced on their end or course exams.
