We're talking about the first annual "TRYathlon" taking place in downtown Bentonville Saturday, hosted by Yarnell's ice cream.
The games will feature an ice cream eating contest, an ice cream scoop stacking challenge and an ice cream sandwich balancing race. Gold, silver and bronze medalists will be given, and all participants will win a variety of Yarnell's prizes, including free ice cream coupons and Yarnell's t-shirts.
Those who attend will be able to sample plenty of free Yarnell's ice cream.
The 42 participants were chosen by local radio stations and through Yarnell's Facebook Page. An additional three participants will be randomly chosen the day of the event before each challenge. Registration for participants begins at 10 a.m., with the challenges held from 10:30 a.m. to noon.
The gold medalist of each event will receive the grand prize - selecting a vintage flavor of Yarnell's ice cream that is unavailable in stores and receiving a batch of that flavor made exclusively for them.
For more information, be sure and check out Fox 24 News Edge at 9 tonight where Brad Reed and Adam Alter will be competing in one of the events. Or check out the Yarnell's facebook page.
