Rogers Police Officer Shot

The officer whose name has not been released, was serving a drug related warrant at 703 Mimosa street. While inside the home the officer and the suspect got into a struggle at which point the officer was shot in the leg. The officer was taken to St. Marys where he had emergency surgery, and reports are he will be fine. Police are currently conducting interviews, as of right now no arrests have been made.
