Beginning in November, Farm Bureau in conjunction with Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Co. of Arkansas is paying $2,500 to anyone whose information leads to the arrest and conviction of those who vandalize, steal from or commit arson on Farm Bureau members` property.
On-farm crime theft, vandalism and malicious mischief GÇö cost Arkansas Farm Bureau members more than $2.5 million last year; in the past five, $14 million.
The $2,500 Reward Program has certain requirements and limitations, but Farm Bureau leaders hope the higher offering continues as an incentive for witnesses of on-farm lawlessness to step forward and bring perpetrators to justice.
