Air Force one landed at XNA Airport where Bush put his support behind gubernatorial candidate Asa Hutchinson. President George Bush then moved on to tax cuts, telling the crowd if you want tax cuts to extend, vote republican, "We believe when you can spend your own money the economy benefits." Bush said he signed the largest tax cut since Ronald Reagan was president and the national unemployment rate is at 4.4% The president also took this rally as an opportunity to touch on the war in Iraq. Bush told the packed audience the best way to protect the American people is to defeat the terrorists overseas, so we wont have to face them on American soil. Bush said the goal in Iraq is victory, meaning Iraq becomes a country that can govern and sustain itself and be an Ally on the war against terrorists. "Whether you agree with me or not support our troops."
