"It's a new week, a new month," junior wide out Julian Horton said after Tuesday's practice.  "We're going to put September behind us."

"We're getting better," junior running back Knile Davis added.  "A lot of people focus on the negatives but I focus on the positives."

What limited positives the Hogs have displayed this season haven't been nearly enough to overcome the negatives.  The most recent loss to Texas A&M provides a perfect example.

"We put up 515 yards," offensive coordinator Paul Petrino said.  "I've never lost a game in my life putting up that kind of yards and having 98 plays, let alone getting your butt kicked.  You should win."

Moving the ball hasn't been the issue for the Razorbacks.  They're averaging 417 yards.  But it's when they get inside the 20 that things stall out.  Arkansas' only converted one red zone touchdown in its last three games.

"It's just the little things that we're not doing," senior receiver Cobi Hamilton explained.  "Execute the play that's being called and just finishing out drives.  We're going on long drives."

"In order to get past that, we need to be able to run the ball in the red zone," junior tight end Austin Tate said.  "We press it down the field.  We go up and down the field on people and the we get down to the 20 yard line and we just stop.  We've got to be able to push through that."

"We've just got to keep fighting," Petrino said.  "We spent a lot of time on the critical zone last week game planning and we spent even more all day (Monday) and (Monday) night for this week.  So I think we have a great plan.  We've just got to execute it and get more points.  Bottom line."

Especially when the defense is allowing more than 40 points per game.
