Courtney Speer is facing charges in Bryant, as well as Benton, where she lives, police say.
Bryant Police say investigators were notified by School Resource Officers of an alleged sexual assault that happened in Benton.
Speer, 30, who resigned as a 9th Grade English teacher for the Bryant School District on Monday, is accused of having sexual relations with a 17-year-old boy, also from Bryant.

He said his first sexual encounter with her occurred at the Bryant High School parking lot inside her vehicle in June, where he had sexual intercourse with her. He told investigators that this happened on four different occasions in the school parking lot.
Benton Police have issued a warrant Speer on two counts of sexual assault, stemming from two instances of sexual contact that are believed to have occurred at her home in Benton as well.
