Rumors have been flying about this couple ever since their dramatic breakup  in 2009. Now , Chris brown has reportedly broken it off with his model girlfriend to pursue a friendship with Rihanna, a move that clarifies the stories in the rumor mill about the two re-kindling their romance.

Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey
There's trouble in paradise on the set of "American Idol". Wednesday an argument between Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey was caught on video. Thursday, Barbara Walters announced on "The View" that she had just gotten off the phone with Carey, who told her that Minaj had threatened to shoot her during the argument. Carey also told Walters that she has hired extra security because she believes Minaj to be "unpredctable".

Jersey Shore
The sixth and final season of "Jersey Shore" premiered Thursday, with a live stream premiere party to kick it off. The cast members live tweeted during the premiere, and MTV will use sites like Tumblr and Facebook to post photos and episodes after they air.

Kitchen Aid's Tweet.
Many twitter users were outraged after an insensitive tweet poking fun at President Obama's late grandmother popped up on "Kitchen Aid's" official Twitter. The tweet  read "Obama's gma even knew it was going 2 b bad! She died 3 days b4 he became president". Kitchen aid deleted the message and tweeted an apology, saying the tweet was irresponsible.

The Debate
President Obama and Governor Romney faced off last night in the first presidential debate. The consensus across social platforms appears to be that the republican nominee was the debate's clear winner. The debate focused on domestic issues; the economy, debt and entitlement reform. According to Google, the four most searched terms of the debate were: Simpson-bowles, dodd-frank, who is winning the debate, and sesame street's big bird.
