"We are somewhat, and have been, our worst enemy," John L. Smith said very poignantly.

The Hogs have issues, but lucky for them, so does this week's opponent.  Auburn's run defense ranks dead last in the SEC.  It just might be the cure for Arkansas' bottom ranked rush offense.

"We're focusing on getting our run game going," junior tight end Austin Tate explained.  "We're focusing on dominating the line of scrimmage."

"We improved in that last game in the running game," offensive coordinator Paul Petrino described.  "We can't put the ball on the ground."

"We'd love to see fireworks and when something bad happens, we can't get our head down," quarterback Tyler Wilson added.

When the Razorback defense takes the field, Auburn's offense presents the opportunity to perform well.

"Definitely their strength is on the defensive side of the ball," Smith said.

That's a kind way of saying the War Eagle attack is bad.  Auburn's the worst in the league scoring less than 18 points per game.

"What do you think they're going to do?" defensive coordinator Paul Haynes asked.  Then he answered his own question.  "They're going to come in here and throw the ball around.  I would too.  I think we've got to prepare for the run but we know that they're going to try to challenge us deep."

"What they've done offensively to this points is, I'm sure, not what they want to do but we look at and say maybe that's a decent match-up for us this week," Smith said.

The Hogs and Tigers also turn the ball over more than any other SEC teams.  So this game may not be about who can win it, but who can lose it less.
