Funeral Arrangements for Matt Turner

The funeral for Little Rock television news anchor Matt Turner, who died in a traffic accident Saturday night, is set for Wednesday in his hometown of Arkadelphia.

Turner, 32, of Little Rock, had just started working for KTHV last month after several years with KARK's sister station in Fayetteville, KNWA.

Turner's funeral is 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the Third Street Baptist Church, where Matt's late father had served as pastor for many years.. Visitation is Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., also at the church. Both are open to the public.

Burial will be in the Bethel Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Preslee Turner College Fund at Summit Bank, Box 965, Arkadelphia, AR 71923 or any Summit Bank location, Arkadelphia, Conway, Benton, Bryant, Malvern, Hot Springs, Hot Springs Village, Hope and Magnolia.
