Almost three months have passed since Matt Turner said goodbye to Northwest Arkansas, his time at KNWA, just the beginning of a very promising career.

In college, football ignited a passion for a future off-the field and in front of a camera. Matt's time at Ouachita Baptist left him with more than just a job; it's where he started dating his future wife Julee and launched into his career at KNWA.

Covering all things razorback until 2006 when he took a seat beside Neile Jones as KNWA's main anchor. For years Matt told stories that inspired northwest Arkansas. Stories that united us and he shared stories that just made us smile. But his biggest story came last November when his baby girl Preslee was born. This summer Matt moved his family closer to his hometown of Arkadelphia, taking a job as the main anchor at KTHV in little rock.

Matt was a dedicated journalist, a committed family man, and a familiar face across the natural state. Matt Turner is a man who won't soon be forgotten!
