Benton County Man Gets 70 Months for Child Porn

A Benton County man has been sentenced to 70 months in jail for possession of child porn.

Carmen Boche-Perez, from Lowell, will not be eligible for parole and was also ordered to pay $12,500 in fines as part of the sentence, handed down Tuesday.

According to court documents, on October 27, 2010, Immigration agents questioned Boche-Perez as he was attempting to cross the border from Mexico into the United States. The
agents found multiple DVD disks, which contained videos of minors engaging in sexual activity in his luggage. Boche-Perez admitted to having another pornographic DVD at his home in Lowell

On May 10, 2012, Boche-Perez, 54, pleaded guilty to one count of possession of child pornography accounting for the single DVD containing child pornography located in Arkansas.

He will serve 5 years supervised release upon his release from prison.
