Remains Found in Arkansas River

Human remains have been found on an island on the Arkansas River.
   
Crawford County Sheriff Ron Brown said a hunter found a human skull on the island.

Officials said that the bones were too decomposed to determine the gender.
   
The remains have been sent to the state crime lab.
   
Investigators say there was no sign of trauma.
