Lots of parents took advantage of free health screenings and safety information for their kids Saturday.

It was Kids Day America and to celebrate, there was free a health, safety and environmental awareness day for children at the Jones Center in Springdale.

Police made fingerprint ID cards for kids and children could get free dental exams, as well as Scoliosis and vision screenings.

"Our kids are our future.  If we don't empower them and give them all the information they need as they age and grow, we feel like we don't have the best opportunity to have kids who are powerful and know what they're doing in their community," said organizer Dr. Justin Favorite.

Favorite Family Chiropractic hosted the event, which will benefit the Children's Advocacy Center.
