A Fayetteville favorite for more than a decade is set for Halloween.

The Fayetteville Visitors Bureau will host the 11th Annual Trick or Treat on the Square, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on October 31st at the Downtown Fayetteville Square. There will be carnival games, face painting and candy for all the little ghosts and goblins.

And for your furry friends, Dog Party USA will be hosting a pet costume contest. Terra Studios will host a troll photo booth.

Kids can also stop by the Walton Arts Center booth to meet the 3 Blind Mice from Shrek the Musical! Shrek the Musical will be playing at Walton Arts Center October 30 through November 4.

According to the visitors bureau, last year over 1,500 children attended the event.

And for those traveling downtown that day, the streets on the Downtown Square will be blocked to oncoming traffic for the safety of those attending the event.
