Little Flock Police Plan Candy Giveaway on Halloween

Updated: October 30, 2012
Little Flock Police and Firefighters plan to hand out candy at apartment complexes on Halloween.

The police will take out their newly completed Humvee, accompanied by several firetrucks to visit four apartment complexes in the city.

Fire Chief Moose Dunavan says the annual event offers kids a safe alternative to trick or treating. All of the candy was donated by local businesses and people who live in little flock.

"Being a small community it's really important to be connected with them so we're just  here to help the community any which way we can," Dunavan says.

The giveaway starts at the Villages of Cross Creeks at 6:30 -- and the convoy will move to a new spot every thirty minutes. They will visit the Fairways at 7 p.m. the Greens at 7:30 p.m. and Lost Springs at 8 p.m.
