Deputies Look for Hit and Run Suspect

Deputies in Washington County are still looking for a driver who hit a woman and left the scene.
It happened near Howard Nickel Road and Salem just outside of Fayetteville.

Witnesses at the scene told investigators a small silver or gray SUV ran a stop sign swerved and hit a pedestrian walking along the shoulder of the road.

Detectives say the suspect is now missing the drivers side mirror.

The 57 year old victim was taken to Washington Regional Medical Center.
