The polls have been open two weeks and a shocking number of Arkansans have already voiced their opinions.
But one of the biggest issues this year is getting some very dramatic reactions from opponents, and it's not medical marijuana.
These are the seven stories you need to know about before you head out the door.
The debate over wet or dry in Madison County is getting heated and recent campaign ads are fanning the flames.
Ads like the one in the Madison County Record suggesting people who drink belong to the devil have raised eyebrows in the area.
Also, people have reported seeing a car being towed around the county with the words "your future with alcohol."
Tensions are running high over a traffic signal in Bella Vista because the proposed light would sit an intersection where a future Walmart may be built.

Mayor Frank Anderson recently released a letter from the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department explaining there's not enough traffic for a light at the intersection of Oldham Drive and Highway 71.
It's an issue because some folks say they decided whether to support the Walmart rezoning based on that traffic light.
The group opposed to a Walmart store is accusing the mayor of trying to snag extra votes in support of the rezoning, by not releasing the information until after early voting started.

Here are some of the big issues on the ballot:
Issue 1, often referred to as the highway tax.
If passed, this billion dollar proposal would mean a "half cent" sales tax increase for road improvements across the state.
Issue 5, the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Act.
If approved there would be 30 not-for-profit dispensaries set up across the state, but the individual cities and counties could still vote to ban them.
You'll also see issues 3 and 4 on the ballot. Both are casino measures which would have allowed for casinos in the state.
However because of change in wording the Arkansas Supreme Court shot down the initiative.
So voters will still see the issues and can vote but those votes will not count.
