Arkansas voters have rejected the medical marijuana ballot issue.

We got reaction from cancer survivor Emily Williams, who has spoken in support of the initiative all across Arkansas.  She was in Fayetteville watching the results come in on Tuesday night.

"Devastating," Williams said. "I know that sounds like such an overwrought word, but devastating. I know that we're going to come back and try again and that's what everybody's told me, you know, it's just the first shot, it's okay. It's not okay... That's not what I want for my friends and my neighbors and people who are sick and suffering and I'm just truly sorry that Arkansans weren't able to see the truth of what this was for."

If the initiative had passes, it would have been the first of it's kind in a southern state.
