AR Medical Marijuana Vote By the Numbers

We're still missing votes in a couple of counties, but it's safe to say the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Act did not pass.

It was a close race, though, with 49 percent of Arkansans supporting the measure and 51 percent voting against it.

The difference amounts to fewer than 30 thousand votes!

In all, 13 of Arkansas' 75 counties passed issue five, including Washington County.

Here's a look at how Northwest Arkansas folks voted.

Washington County
Yes:  56.5%
No:  43.5%

Madison County
Yes:  48.6%
No:  51.4%

Benton County (still counting votes)
Yes:  47.3%
No:  52.7%
