Pet care can be pricey, but a local event is helping animals get the care they need on the cheap.

It's called the "Pet Wellness Expo" and it's happening this weekend.

You can take your dog or cat to get booster shots, rabies vaccines and microchips all five bucks a pop!

The Expo is open from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Washington County Sheriff's Office in Fayetteville this Saturday, November 10. Go to the East Wing Annex Building at 1155 Clydesdale Drive.

There will also be some fun for your pet! Just visit the Humane Society of the Ozarks table and snag some treats and register for our door prize!

But there are a few rules. All animals must be on a leash or in a carrier, and animals must be socialized.

For more information, visit the HSO's Facebook page or call the Animal League of Washington County at (479) 263-7058.
