The life and legacy of Peter Van Winkle is on display in the Walmart Community Room.
In the 1870's Van Winkle built a state-of-the-art lumber mill in the area that is now Hobbs State Park.
The mill churned out thousands of board feet of lumber each day, and customers could buy everything they needed to make a home.
The display is on loan from the Rogers Historical Museum, and includes historical pictures as well as what the site looks like today.
"People can come and just learn on their own time and browse at their own pace," says Library Director Hadi Dudley.
The exhibit is only available for public viewing at certain times.
