Razorback basketball season has officially tipped off, and some young fans are getting in on the action!

Hundreds of elementary school students from across Northwest Arkansas cheered the Razorback Women's team on Friday morning at Bud Walton Arena.

The kids were able to skip class to watch the lady Hogs' season opener against Jackson State.
Their cheers did the trick, too!

The Razorback Women won the game 97 to 58.

The men's team takes the court Friday night, opening their season at 7:00 against Sam Houston State.
