New Artistic Bike Racks Along Block Ave. in Fayetteville

By: Lisa Mendenhall
Updated: November 14, 2012

Block Avenue is brightening up a bit!

Fayetteville city workers installed several new bike racks along Block Tuesday morning.

But these aren't just any racks. They're also works of art!

The brightly colored bike racks reflect the businesses on Block Avenue: scissors, a guitar, a coffee mug.

Local artist Eugene Sargent created the artistic racks, which were paid for by the Block Street Business Association.
