A plot of land in Fayetteville is causing some controversy.

The Sunshine Place Apartments at North Hall Avenue and West Cleveland Street might be torn down for a brand new development. Some neighbors were not too happy with that plan and filed a lawsuit against the city's decision to rezone the land for construction.

On Tuesday, a Washington County Circuit Judge dismissed the suit, but the University of Arkansas is also eyeing the land with hopes to build a school parking lot on the property.
