Bella Vista Veterans Wall of Honor Tour

Updated: November 15, 2012
There's a quiet, beautiful spot in Bella Vista dedicated to honoring the men and women who have served and sacrificed for this country.
The Veterans Wall of Honor not only chronicles major military events, from the Revolutionary War to the War on Terrorism, but also lists the names of more than 4,000 veterans.
We visited the wall this week with Gene Roy, vice president of the NWA Veteran's Council. Click on the attached video above for a tour of the wall.
Currently, the granite walls at the memorial are completely full.
But if you'd like to honor a family member or friend who has served there's another option.
Special commemorative coffee mugs can be purchased with a donation to the NWA Veteran's Council. The money will go toward the yearly maintenance costs of the Wall of Honor, which total around $10,000.
