Baby snow leopards and a cow run. Here are Thursday's stories that go "Over the Edge".

You've heard the old holiday song about getting run over by a reindeer, well, in India, they take it semi-seriously. Except, instead of a reindeer, it's cows. Dozens of people in one village observing an annual holiday by getting trampled by a herd of rushing cows. It falls on the day after the Hindu festival of lights and locals have been practicing the bizarre ritual for centuries. Organizers say it's completely safe and no one ever gets hurt.

Visitors to the Chattanooga Zoo will get to meet the newest four-legged additions this weekend! Check out the newly named snow leopard cubs, Everest and Maliha. Both little cubs are healthy and doing well and are just the latest births at the Chattanooga Zoo for the endangered species.

These newborn triplets may find their way into the record books. The three boys, born to a California couple, weighed a total of 20 pounds at birth. The current record for triplets is just over 18 pounds. Mom says she needed to eat about six-thousand calories a day during her pregnancy.
