We celebrated veterans this week on the Fox Morning Edge.

Friday, Frank Manasseri, a Navy vet who served on board the USS Charles H. Roan during the Cuban Missile Crisis, stopped by our studios.

He visited with us about his time on the ship translating codes and looking for Soviet submarines.

Manasseri, a former NWACC student, was recently awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, and Navy Expeditionary Medal.

Click on the attached video to hear his story.
