Following the the announcement that Hostess will stop operations, one Fayetteville store will soon close up shop.

On Friday, the baker of iconic Twinkies cakes and other goodies asked a court's permission to shutdown the entire company after a strike crippled its operations.

We talked to the manager of the Hostess Bakery outlet located on West Street in Fayetteville who told us they will be done once the existing inventory has been sold.  She said there has been a bit of a rush on favorites like HoHo's, Ding Dongs and of course, those Twinkies, since news broke of the company's plans to shutter.

According to the manager, who has run the store for 6 years, they expect to be closed in a matter of days.
